the ability to do something difficult

Did you know that more than 240 million people in the U.S. alone have been impacted by narcissistic abuse? As one of those people, I determined that society needs more education about how to recover from narcissistic relationships.

I have experienced and grown from a lifetime of narcissistic relationships. I was parented by a narcissist, held hostage by a narcissist, and was married to a narcissist. I know what it is like to leave everything behind to start over, and do the work it takes to recover from narcissistic abuse.
Bren Worthington, author and expert on narcissistic abuse

About the Author

Bren Worthington is an empathetic entrepreneur and first-time author of a trilogy to educate readers about the recovery from narcissistic abuse. Over the past fifteen years Bren has become an expert-through-experience on a topic that has become more talked about in recent years than ever before: Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).

Bren’s formative and early adult years were spent surrounded by narcissistic abusers. Once Bren realized her abusive relationship patterns, she was determined to learn how to break the cycle of abuse. Bren is passionate about  educating those in narcissistic relationships to recognize the warning signs of abuse and how to begin the Recovery from Narcissistic Relationships (RNR).

Bren’s dedication to hard work, courage and her sense of humor has provided her with a life, rich with contentment and healthy relationships. Bren’s commitment to research and educating herself on how NPD affects nearly 66.5 million people in the United States alone, prompted her to write her first book titled “You Are Not Crazy: How to Identify a Narcissist, and Recover From Narcissistic Abuse”.
